Manufacturing Repair Technician

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build. We are looking for a Manufacturing Repair Technician to complement our superstar team building and improving the product of the future. Responsibilities: Requirements: Bonus Qualifications: The US hourly range for this full-time position is between $35 - $50/hr. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended. - Diagnosing and repairing full robots and smaller sub-assemblies for Figure 03 high volume manufacturing - Repairing small batch mechanical components including but not limited to thread repair, fitment issues, and handling damage. - Document and feeding back issues and possible improvements to your management for manufacturing, design, quality, and other groups - Creating and documenting repair procedures for repeat issues and future remanufacturing of failed in field robots and sub-assemblies - Supporting any immediate need to keep manufacturing moving at a high rate - 5+ years experience working with complex systems - Familiarity with computer based tools such as but not limited to CMD prompt, Google Suite, Confluence, Jira, and in house development GUI’s - Familiarity with electrical hardware based diagnostic tools such as but not limited to Scope, Digital MultiMeter, Current Probes - Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly - Ability to read PCBA and Harness schematics for trouble shooting - Ability to follow assembly documentation - Ability to build with little to no documentation with engineering support - Full system architecture diagnostic experience and organized diagnostic processes - Great attitude and excited to face challenges - Catia or CAD based program experience - MES Experience - Programming experience Python Java C++ - Fabrication experience - PCB Rework experience - Robotics experience
