Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to run day-to-day operations of our testing facility out in Ellensburg, WA. This position will independently perform office and building operations under general supervision and play a vital role in maintaining an efficient and safe work environment. Primary emergency contact for the facility. - Manage building access; maintain a visitor’s log, check in visitors, and escort visitors/vendors/contractors as needed. - Maintain inventory of office and kitchen, including but not limited to office supplies, shipping and packaging material, and snacks/beverages. - Process incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. On occasion, perform courier services between Overland AI facilities. - Ensure that consumables, including fuel, propane, custodial supplies, kitchen perishables, personal protective equipment, and tools, are properly stocked and readily available. - Enforce facilities’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training requirements regarding safe and efficient operations and work practices. - Build and manage vendor relationships including catering services, shipping and delivery services, custodial services, and leasing management. - Coordinate external contractor visits and maintenance schedules. - Quickly report and remediate building issues. - Maintain and operate office equipment including multifunction printers, shredding services, conference room AV, and TVs. Light phone support as needed. - Support the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. - Provide administrative support and perform other duties as needed. - BA/BS degree, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 2 years of experience as a facility/office manager. - Ability to obtain a US government security clearance. - Proficiency with the use of computers, Microsoft Office 365 suite (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and procurement software/order forms. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity amid a fast-moving, rapidly growing business. - Ability to respond to building emergencies.
