In this position, you will play a critical role in helping out build out an engineering team for Harvey in New York and helping us expand Harvey’s product to meet our global customer demand.What You’ll Do:Hire and grow a landing team of 10+ engineers in New York to launch our EPD team formally on the East Coast.Partner with EPD leadership and our San Francisco team on an effective and collaborative model of alignment across geographies that prioritizes engineering velocity and an element of autonomy for teams while maintaining Harvey’s commitment to enterprise trust and safety.Work closely with customers and cross-functional partners to understand customer pain points, identify opportunities, and develop a compelling roadmap for expanding on existing Harvey products and on input for future products.Foster a culture of engineering excellence, paired with innovation and calculated risk-taking.Help shape the broader Engineering and Tech org as Harvey goes through hypergrowth.What You Have:At least 6+ years of experience in a software engineering management role, leading teams focused on customer-facing product surfaces.Strong collaboration skills given how closely you’ll be working across geographies with EPD leadership and GTM teams.Proven track record of building highly engaged and high-performing engineering teams across different cities, including a strong pull for talent and proven experience coaching engineers at scale.5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on customer facing products.A plus: Direct experience working on product initiatives that require collaboration with dedicated external partners or customers.Compensation Range$300,000 - 360,000 USDHarvey is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition, or any other basis protected by law.We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities, and requests can be made by emailinginterview-help@harvey.ai.Compensation Range: $300K - $360K
