In this role, you will handle recruiting for key roles from end-to-end across engineering, strategy, research, and other functions.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and has a strong passion for building incredible teams. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, supporting the CEO in scaling the company, driving cross-functional priorities, and ensuring the leadership team operates with focus and velocity.You’ll be responsible for managing company-wide operating rhythms, surfacing and solving key strategic issues, and ensuring the CEO’s time and attention are focused on the highest-leverage areas. This is a highly visible role that requires exceptional judgment, EQ, business acumen, and the ability to lead through influence.What You’ll DoAmplify CEO Impact:Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, triage priorities, prepare for high-stakes meetings (e.g.investors, key customers), and ensure follow-through on critical decisions and initiatives.Drive Cross-Functional Execution:Lead and track key initiatives that span teams, particularly where clear ownership is missing. Unblock issues, manage interdependencies, and ensure outcomes are delivered with urgency.Run Strategic Planning & Operating Cadence:Own company-wide planning, OKRs, and leadership operating rhythms. Ensure alignment on goals, decisions, and accountability across the executive team.Support Market & Customer Strategy:Partner with SGE leaders to shape pricing, packaging, and customer feedback loops.Lead Internal Communications & Narrative:Draft executive communications, internal updates, and strategic narratives that drive clarity and alignment across teams.Facilitate Executive Forums & Offsites:Design and run leadership team meetings, offsites, and company-wide moments that build trust, focus, and high performance.Build Organizational Leverage:Identify gaps, remove friction, and improve the systems and structures that support scale.What You’ll Bring8–12+ years of experience, ideally a mix of consulting, strategy, business operations, or experience in a Chief of Staff or BizOps role at a fast-growing company.Proven ability to operate as both a strategic thought partner and a hands-on operator.Experience supporting or working alongside Sales, Marketing, or Customer teams.Experience driving strategic planning, OKRs, and operating cadences across senior teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to synthesize complex ideas and influence across functions.High trust, discretion, and judgment, you can handle sensitive topics with care and integrity.Calm under pressure, thrives in ambiguity, and solves problems before they escalate.Note: Distyl is a hybrid working environment and requires in-office collaboration 3 days a week.
