We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Kubernetes, deployment automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools), environment agnostic deployment, and US Federal Government Risk Management Frameworks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying our product to government customer environments and ensuring our security posture meets requirements while maintaining the high availability, performance, and security of our services. You will work closely with other Federal DevOps Engineers and the Yurts Platform DevOps and Engineering teams to improve product deployment efficiency and configurability. This will give you an insight into the fascinating world of AI and the possibilities it holds for the future. - Deploy the Yurts product in US government compute environments using Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes/Docker, and related technologies. - Architect, implement, and maintain an installer for deploying our software across multiple customer environments. - Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, backing up, patching and deploying the Yurts product and underlying services. - Prepare packages required for Authorization to Operate (ATO), Certification to Field (CTF), and other security requirements presented by US Government Risk Management Frameworks (RMF). - Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities for deployed applications. - Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime. - Collaborate with product DevOps Engineers to establish best practices and company-wide guidelines. - Work closely with product software engineering teams to integrate their project deliverables into customer production cloud and on-premises environments. - Troubleshoot complex system issues and work with customer, partner, and internal development teams to identify root causes and resolve them. - Stay current with new technologies and recommend innovative solutions that increase value and improve efficiency. - Enforce compliance with security best practices and policies. - Participate in the creation of the company's strategic IT roadmap. - Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer locations, company events, and conferences. - An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence SECRET clearance, with a willingness to obtain a TS/SCI if needed. - A BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. - CompTIA Security+ Certification. - 4+ years of experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, or equivalent software-engineering role. - Extensive experience leading application deployments to AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud environments, as well as on-premises data centers. - Experience delivering software to multiple environments using Ansible or similar automation and configuration management technologies. - Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc, and a willingness to learn and adopt new ones. - Experience deploying rapidly evolving software and maintaining a flexible deployment paradigm to enable rapid iteration. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, partner vendors, end users, and cross-functional teams. - Experience writing and leveraging infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar). - Working knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and related data structures. - Proficiency in at least one scripting language (i.e Bash, Python). - Experience building deployment systems for rapidly developing and changing applications. - An MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. - An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence TS/SCI clearance. - Experience with containerization and deployment of Machine Learning models. - Experience deploying commercial software products into government customer environments. - Experience in startup environments.

Job Description: We’re looking for our first pre-sales-focused engineer at Yurts to demonstrate the power of our Generative AI product to prospective customers and partners. In this role, you’ll architect and implement proof of concepts (POCs) that will show customers the impact Yurts can have on their business or mission. You’ll educate prospects on how various Yurts features will improve their productivity and on how we address common AI concerns (hallucinations, data leakage, etc.). Using your familiarity with customer needs, you’ll evangelize their use cases, desired features, and pain points internally to help Yurts further improve our product. By building a strong relationship with prospective customer stakeholders, you’ll become a trusted advisor, providing honest assessments of how Yurts can impact their productivity. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in leading customers through the technical sales journey, from requirements gathering to POC development to customer demonstrations. You will work closely with Yurts sales leaders throughout the sales cycle and will work closely with delivery engineers and customer success during the transition from sales to execution. You will meet with services, technology, and platform partners to develop prototype integrations and technical sales materials in support of co-selling opportunities. You will be Yurts’ first pre-sales engineer so you will frequently own the creation of such processes. - An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence SECRET clearance (or higher). - Experience in technology startup environments. - Experience developing Generative AI prototypes.
