We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer that can understand the intricacies of bringing together multiple complex systems into  fully functional robots. Responsibilities: Requirements: Bonus Qualifications: - Ensure requirements are being correctly translated into functional design architecture - Contribute to the architectural decisions of all of the different subsystems of the robot - Design high level build plans to ensure that all teams are unblocked - Have a complete understanding of all systems and how they come together - Help debug persistent issues that arise, in both hardware and software, during robot bring up and testing - 5+ years of experience in robotics or similar field - Master's degree in robotics or similar - Ability to understand and debug complex systems - Ability to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledge - Understanding of how different subsystems (Controls, Electrical, Software, Mechanical) interact, and where they commonly have issues - Extensive experience developing and working with robots - Ability to write C++, Python a plus - Ability to CAD a plus - Experience with Linux a plus - Experience with designing test plans

We are looking for an Integration Technician to join the team to build complex mechanical and electrical systems and assemble our humanoid robot. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Collaborate with the Engineering organization to define acceptance test procedures and calibration procedures - Develop roadmaps, strategies, schedules, and staffing plans to support the Test Services organization activities - Build a highly efficient team of test engineers and technicians - Design, build and maintain automated manufacturing acceptance testers and calibration fixtures for printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBA) and robot subsystems - Conduct environmental and reliability tests for the robot hardware - Build and maintain test platforms to support engineering design verification - Provide test services including board reworks and cable assemblies to support testing and prototyping - Identify gaps and continuously improve processes and solutions - Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field - At least 5 years of management experience in test engineering - Hands-on experience with programming, test automation, and python - Hands-on experience designing and testing printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBA) - Good understanding of communication buses and protocols like Ethernet, TCP/IP, Ethercat, Serial, CAN or USB - Expert using lab instruments (Data acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies etc.) - Strong verbal and written communication skills

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to design, implement, and test firmware for the motor controllers used by all our actuators. Responsibilities: Requirements: Bonus Qualifications: - Architect, design, implement and test firmware in C++ for motor controllers - Work closely with the hardware team to define hardware requirements and hardware/software interfaces - Work closely with the control team on motor control algorithms and functional interfaces - Develop Python tools to support test automation or hardware calibration - Support hardware/software integration in the lab - Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field - At least 5 years of industry experience - Mastery of C++ and Python - Hands-on experience developing firmware to control Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors, including Field Oriented Control (FOC) - Experience implementing low level software on bare-metal systems and RTOS - Deep understanding of communication buses and protocols like Ethernet, Ethercat, Serial, SPI and I2C - Good understanding of digital signal processing techniques such as FIR, IIR and FFT - Comfortable using lab instruments (Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers…) and debugging tools (Lauterbach…) - Experience developing safety firmware compliant with IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 - Experience with Bazel build systems - Familiar with Agile and Test driven development.
