We’re in need of someone with data rigor to drive key decision making across the business.What You'll DoEstablish the data & process foundation for product and general analytics at HarveyPartner with Product, Exec Team, GTM, & Finance to create and maintain standard dashboards that measure business healthCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentationsDeliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholdersPartner with engineering to define data schemas, data models, and make technology decisionsAnalyze and synthesize competitive dynamics and customer insights to highlight opportunities to improve our businessWhat You Have3-9 years of experience in an analytics focused role - analytics engineer, data engineer or analyst / consultant with a strong engineering backgroundExpert at answering product questions & crafting narratives with dataExpert with SQL, dbt, Python, and other common analytics toolsEager to move fast & drive impact — you’d rather build an imperfect data model quickly that is used by many people than a perfect data model that collects dustExpertise at both defining the right metrics as well as diagnosing and understanding data inconsistenciesStrong communication with the ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationshipsAbility to thrive in ambiguous cross-functional projects across Product, GTM, and FinanceBig picture thinking while still delivering on the detailsExperience in a B2B / commercial environmentThis role is based in San Francisco, CA.
